How to use all seven slots
- 1
1. Compliant hero
Product on pure white, filling the frame. The one image with strict rules.
- 2
2. Scale and context
In a hand or beside a familiar object, so size is unmistakable.
- 3
3. Feature callouts
Annotated close-up naming the three or four features that matter. Often the strongest secondary.
- 4
4. In use
A person using it in a believable setting.
- 5
5. What's in the box
Everything included, laid out flat.
- 6
6. Comparison or size chart
Against your own range, or dimensions and fit.
- 7
7. Trust
Certification, warranty, materials, or manufacturing detail.
Frequently asked questions
Can we add text to secondary images?
Yes. Only the main image prohibits text and graphics. Secondary images are where feature callouts, comparison charts and size guides belong, and they are usually what lifts conversion.
What is A+ content and is it worth it?
Enhanced description modules available to brand-registered sellers — comparison tables, banners and richer layouts below the fold. It generally helps for considered purchases and is worth doing once your images and reviews are in place.
Do we need video on the listing?
It is increasingly expected in competitive categories. A fifteen to thirty second demo showing the product working answers questions images cannot, and video slots are still underused by many sellers.
How often do the requirements change?
Periodically, and they can differ by category. Check Seller Central before any major launch or catalogue refresh rather than relying on a guide — including this one.
